Dr. Lesley Larew

Owner, DVM

Dr. Larew's Bio

Dr. Lesley Larew purchased the Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills in February 2020. Raised on a farm in rural West Virginia, Dr. Larew attended West Virginia University and earned a Bachelors’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2002. After a year of working in Sidney, Ohio, Dr. Larew relocated to Cincinnati, where she worked at a number of veterinary clinics, as an associate and as a relief veterinarian. Dr. Larew lives with her 3 children, Jared, Carson, and Addison. They share their home with two Golden Retrievers, Chase and Cookie, and one poorly behaved but well-loved cat, Felix. Dr. Larew enjoys reading, concerts, watching Mountaineer football, and spending time outdoors in her home state of West Virginia.

Dr. Katrina Klopfenstein

Dr. Klopfenstein's Bio

Dr. Katrina Klopfenstein is proud to be the associate veterinarian of Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills. She grew up on the west side of Cincinnati and worked at AHDH as a veterinary assistant for nine years. After graduating from Saint Ursula Academy, she completed her undergraduate studies at Hiram College, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, after which she moved back to Cincinnati. She worked for several years in small animal general practice and returned to AHDH in 2019. She has developed particular interests in surgery, behavior, low-stress handling, and client communication and education. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Klopfenstein currently lives with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Serena and Owen. They have two dogs, Oscar and Piper, and a chinchilla named Juniper. During her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, watching hockey, and spending time with her family.

Kyle

Practice Manager

Kyle's Bio

Kyle is one of the senior staff members at the Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills. Born and raised a west-sider, he graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science. Kyle enjoys interacting with clients and helping to care for their fur babies. When he’s not at work, he can be found spending time with his family and dog, Oscar.

Danielle

Veterinary Technician Student

Danielle's Bio

Danielle has been working at AHDH since 2015. She has 2 dogs – a Husky named Koda and an Olde English Bulldog named Lilo. In her spare time, Danielle likes to hang out with her friends and her dogs.

Emily

Veterinary Assistant

Emily's Bio

Hi, my name is Emily, and I started working at the Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills in 2020. I’m currently a Psychology major at Mount St. Joseph and plan to attend law school after graduation. I have a crazy, but all the more loveable, cat named Olive and a nephew-cat named Charles. I’ve really enjoyed working at AHDH, and I love spending time with everyone’s wonderful pets and my amazing coworkers. Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, photography, and roller-skating.

Sam

Veterinary Assistant

Sam's Bio

Sam started working at Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills at the end of September. She has been in the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant for nine years now. She loves working with animals and getting to know their families! Outside of work, she loves spending time with her son. They love to go hiking, swimming, and anything to do with nature. Sam has three dogs, four cats, two rats, and six snakes!

Hello all, my name is Kaitlyn, and I’m so excited to be here at AHDH. I’ve been in the animal world for about 4.5 years before taking a short break, only to realize that animals are my passion, and this is where I belong. My dream is to own my very own doggy kennel someday! I have a feisty 5-year-old Rottweiler named Monty. He is my protector and a big mamma’s boy. We love snacking and being lazy! I can’t wait to continue learning the AHDH ways and hopefully get to meet you all soon. ❤️

Allison

Veterinary Assitant

Allison's Bio

Hi, my name is Allison and I just started working at AHDH in August of 2022. I went to Oak Hills High School and after graduation, I married my high school sweetheart who joined the marines we then moved to Okinawa Japan. During my time there I completed an online vet assistant course and ended up loving it. Since I have returned home I now plan to eventually attend UC Blue Ash to complete their vet tech program. When I’m not at AHDH you can find me working at Neumann Golf course or Woodland Golf Course. Outside of both jobs, I spend my time lifting weights and hanging with my family. When I can I love to do anything sports related such as throwing football/baseball and playing basketball with my family.

Virtual Healthcare Assistant

Megan's Bio

Hi, my name is Megan and I am excited to be back and apart of the AHDH crew again. I started at AHDH in 2012 and took a leave of absence in 2021 to care for my son, Isaac. Less than a year later, I happily joined back at AHDH. I have an associates in science and bachelors in middle school education from The University of Cincinnati.

I live at home with my husband, Tyler, and our son Isaac. We have three dogs, two cats and a Congo African Grey Parrot. I enjoy spending time outside or crafting. Currently I spend a lot of my free time advocating and fundraising for the cystic fibrosis foundation.

Caroline's Bio

Caroline Dumandan is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines. worked for 10 years as an executive secretary of one of the largest retail and leasing company in Asia. Turning her table around, as she wanted to go back to her passion and take care of her family at the same time, she decided to pursue her career as a Veterinary Healthcare Virtual Assistant; luckily, she was hand-picked by Dr. Lesley Larew and found herself a new path in Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills. Currently, Caroline is living with her husband, mom, and 2 kids. She also has 2 sweet Siberian Forester cats named Jack and Vixie and a 3-year-old American Bulldog named Julio. She loves spending time with her family as she ventures into a new virtual career at the same time.

Hi, my name is Karrah and I’ve been working at AHDH since the summer of ’22. I’m very grateful to be able to work with all the families and their pets, and to be a part of the AHDH team. I currently live on the Westside with my husband and our son. We have two awesome dogs and one very fluffy cat. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, cooking, and binge-watching a great show.
